CANDLE CARE AND SAFETY

As with anything flammable, always burn within sight. Make sure your candles are placed on a level heat resistant surface. Make sure  candles are away from curtains or anything that can be ignited. Keep all furry friends and young family member away from lit candles. Candles should never be burned completely . Once it is burned  within  1/4 inch ( SOLID WAX) from the bottom, discontinue use. Do not burn more than 4 hours at a time. Do not touch tins/jars while burning. Keep candles approx. 2 feet away from walls.  Never pour wax down drainage systems!  

The first time burning a soy candle is the most important! ALWAYS ALLOW THE WAX TO MELT ACROSS THE ENTIRE SURFACE!  This should take about 3-4 hours depending on the size and type of container. This Is important as it helps eliminate "TUNNELING"  and increases the life of your candles. Trim the wicks regularly.  Keep wicks about 1/4 of a inch for best results.
